Sick

* I have had the "flew". I makes me so grateful for our home. I have clean sheets, a warm hair dryer, a toilet a jump away, and a man that will tickle my arms.
* This tree house on the water reminds me of a time in Hawaii when I got the flew. We were with three other couples. The morning was misty and cool. Everyone left for the day and I got to read and study on the back porch all alone. I think I was reading Shell Seekers. It was the most wonderful day. I treasure down times to think and be grateful.
* I wonder what Bret and Matt are doing on this Tuesday morning?
* I hope little Lucy will feel better soon. Kim has had Max and Jayne all sick, and I know her back is hurting her. I am praying for health for everyone as we near Friday and our girl's outing.
* "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh." Ezekiel 36"26

* The snow is almost melted off the lawn.
* Matt helped me wash all the windows. We can see spring coming now.
* Bret and Matt just drove away with Matt's clothes and an old washer and dryer. I wonder what lays ahead for them? Matt was smiling. Bret is wonderful!
* I can hardly wait to see my three daughters at one time. Here we come Chicago!

Matt is Home

* Matt is home tonight! We made corn beef sandwiches and he was so appreciative. He is loving life at the moment. He cleaned the garage out and wants to go fishing.
* We just watched Jimmer make 52 points for BYU. Bret is down watching the game in Vegas.
* The weather is warm it feel so nice.
* If we have patience all things seem to finally work out. I am hopeful for the future.

Memories

* Last night was a perfect Sunday night. Tom and I spent time in Bret's home. There were yummy smells, calm children with great big hugs. Bret and Nic were cutting up strawberries for New Beginnings together. It makes me so happy to see their service to their ward. We talked of Matt, and our hopes.
* The Miller Home was filled with black karate bodies performing, Abbie's proud announcement that she new all the states and capitols, Lucy running as fast as lightening, Emilee's new running shoes that are going to carry her across many finish lines, Max and Jason's new hair cuts, little Jayne limp as a noodle with a fever, heavy on Kim's chest, but heavy concern for Kim's back. My fear of forgetting comes to the surface every time I realise I missed out on long periods of time when I forget to ask. Kim will you please help me by calling me and counting me as your best friend. I want to know. I am so grateful for your gratitude journal, in a few seconds I can get the feel of your life. I love your honesty. I can feel you close with your words. I think I just need one of Grandma's signs reminding me to visit your journal. I want to Pay attention and stay close.

Rest

* Today I am thankful for a good nights sleep. Life is so much better if we sleep.
* We have spent days with Bonnie and Mark. They have worked endlessly to try and figure out Mom's Finances. Diane and Paul have been up. We are all weary. Mom is confused.
* I am so ready to be still on this Sabbath Morning.

In the Details

* The tiny details of a flower often go unnoticed. They are the most fragile and amazing. The details of our life often go unnoticed, except to ourselves. What do I think about when I am alone? What small things can bring me happiness? Who do I choose to spend my time with?
* Yesterday was our 39th Anniversary. We sat at Carrabbas and talked about wedding and honeymoon. We each remembered such different things. Why didn't I write some of them down?
* I love my partner! These have been such happy years!
* I can feel Spring in the air.
* 9 more days till we go to Chicago!!!!!!

Lillies of the Valley

* I have tried to grow Lilly of the Valley but have never succeeded. I want to know their secret. I think they smell luscious, I must smell next time. I like the white tiny bells against the heavy waxy leaves.
* Linda got the Hondorous Temple. She met the architect for the Rome temple while installing the San Salvador murals. They talked of a garden room mural and the marriage of Adam and Eve. He loved the idea. She came home wanting to paint figures this summer to practice up for Rome. She ordered material to study about Michael Angelo and his art in Rome. I remember being in such awe in the Sistine Chapel so many years ago. Then she got a call to paint an old sketch she did for a temple that was not accepted. . . the garden room, for the Spokane Temple. She thinks it is a tender mercy. Here I am again, trying to decide, but my heart wants to jump on board. The paint will be here next week, ready to mix for two temples. Linda has shingles and she is so sick. With each temple comes Satans discouragement.
* Today we got more snow. . . so deep. Tomorrow I need to be at the temple at 7:00 for a meeting with temple presidency.
* Tom's back is finally starting to feel better. We feed the horses together. Each taking an end of the bale of hay. Our hay is only going to last a few more weeks. I haven't seen any little green shoots yet.

Stephanie

* It has snowed a foot in the last hour, soft, quiet, and deep.
* I heard Stephanie speak last night at Kim's stake. I was so proud of Kim, she was so beautiful and tender as she introduced Stephanie. I love Kim! As Stephanie talked a miracle happened. She bore her testimony of love and the Lord, all you could see were her lovely green eyes. She was so powerful. I predict she will be a more prolific missionary than even Alma the Younger. How amazing she is part of our family and we have life times to learn from her. She looked right at me and talked about the need for families to forgive each other. Maybe she is the path back home!
* Abbie was sporting a five carrot pink stone ring from a male admirer last night. Hope they don't have any plans to run away.
* Just seeing Emilee made my night!
* Mom came with us, she was in heaven! What was I thinking? Why didn't I think to invite Nicole and Jenny. Next time!

Light Against Dark

* Today I am grateful for many things! Light mornings against a dark night.
* I worked with Tom in the garage mending horse blankets. He fixed me up with two heaters and some hot Tortilla Soup. We were both so dirty and smelly when we were finished. We laughed and talked freely. It felt good.
* I am grateful for Conference Talks to study.
* Sunday morning I get to be in the temple for a meeting with the Temple Presidency.
* I finished Dave Ramsey's book Total Money Makeover. Wish the kids would read it.
* I am going to Springville today to meet a new artist.
* Thursday night I get to be with Kim to hear Stephanie talk.

Snow Again

* We woke up to the deepest snow again. Glen plowed us out.
* I love the crunch sound of the snow and the loud munching and snorting of the horses when they are hungry. I has been great to feed the horses each day with Tom. I love him.
* Bret started a fun All Star Game Competing last night. It was fun to watch everyone connect for one night. Jace won the $10, and I think Jamie will guide him to the Cadburry Egg isle at the store.
* I cut Anna Bells hair. Benjamin leaded on my shoulder through Sacrament Meeting.
* Waking in the morning Time smiles in my hand.
